Construct Brooklyn of Brooklyn, NY is seeking a collaborative and scrappy full-time Office Manager to run an organized and efficient office in a small but fast-growing general contracting and fabrication company. This position also provides support to various project sites and has the option to partially work from home. Are you a hardworking individual who is willing to learn and can adapt to change? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OFFICE MANAGER

n

First and foremost, as our Office Manager, you provide the best customer service anywhere. You work with the Bookkeeper to track business expenses and provide regular updates on the status of all accounts and payments to the president. You are also responsible for making deposits and other banking activities. Before projects begin, you obtain necessary permits for new projects, collect contracts and insurance certificates, and update required company documentation. Working with subcontractors, you create a project roster and provide assistance in matters of payroll.

From the development and execution of administrative processes, your organizational skills are heavily relied upon. You not only create systems and processes for maximum efficiency and production, but you also manage the entire office and attend weekly management meetings. You maintain office project binders, prepare site binders, and maintain inventory and office equipment. With your calm yet steadfast demeanor, you take having tough conversations with team members in stride. You hold yourself, the company, and staff to a very high standard - and it shows!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly organized with great communication skills

  • Must speak Spanish
  • n
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word, MS Project Plan, and Outlook
  • n
